I headed out to Wollaton with my 50mm lens and the audio book of The Road Back To You (I would 10/10 recommend) ready to spend the afternoon listening and filming. I left just ahead of the sun starting to dip so I could capture the bright, low January sun and of course, just as the light hits the point I had been waiting for my camera battery dies, followed swiftly by my phone battery.
I was in the middle of the deer park, with all the right kit, the perfect light and NO battery!
A brilliant opportunity to enjoy the views with no agenda but there is nothing more frustrating than seeing the perfect shot and not being able to capture it.
This is my haphazard, shaky mini vid from Wollaton.
